Tasolo Privacy Policy

Tasolo Privacy Policy

We operate Tasolo and describe our privacy practices for the app in a straightforward way. This policy applies when you use Tasolo, communicate with us, make an in-app purchase, or send a privacy request.

Policy version: effective May 27, 2026; revised May 27, 2026.

Information We Collect

Information can come from what you provide, how the app is used, app-store transactions, and communications with us. The categories depend on your use of Tasolo and the services needed to operate it.

Content you provide may include text, preferences, notes, saved items, or other materials entered into the app. This content is treated as user content and is handled so the app can provide, maintain, and protect the requested experience.

App records may include device and app identifiers, diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, general usage events, language or region settings, and related technical information. These records help us understand whether the app is working properly, keep it reliable, and respond to operational or legal needs.

Purchase-related information may be handled when you make an in-app purchase. App marketplaces and payment providers process payment details under their own terms and privacy practices. We may receive limited purchase confirmation, entitlement, receipt, or transaction-status information needed to provide paid access, prevent misuse, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.

Communications information may include the email address or other contact details you choose to provide, the content of your message, and related handling records. We use that information to respond, route requests, and keep appropriate legal or operational records.

How We Use Your Information

Information is used to operate Tasolo, provide requested app functions, maintain app performance, process or validate in-app purchases, respond to privacy and support communications, protect the app from misuse, comply with law, and preserve records needed for legal rights or obligations.

Where EEA or UK data protection law applies, our lawful bases may include performance of a contract for app delivery and purchase access, consent for optional processing where consent is required, legitimate interests in app security and service improvement, legal obligations for required records and compliance, and legal claims when information is needed to establish, exercise, or defend rights.

We also use aggregated or de-identified information when appropriate. Information in that form is used for operational review, analytics, app quality, and planning, and is not intended to identify a particular user.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate, host, maintain, secure, analyze, or support Tasolo. These providers are expected to handle information only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate confidentiality or data-protection commitments.

App marketplaces, payment processors, and platform providers may receive or process purchase and device-related information according to their own rules. For in-app purchases, they generally handle payment credentials and transaction processing, while we may receive only the information needed to confirm purchase status and manage app access.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, regulatory request, safety need, fraud prevention, rights enforcement, or a business transaction involving the app or its operator. User content or records may be shared at your direction, when necessary to provide a requested function, or when legally required.

Opt-Out of Data Sharing

Available opt-outs depend on applicable law, platform controls, and the type of processing involved. Device settings, app-store settings, consent prompts, and in-app controls, when available, may let you limit certain analytics, communications, or sharing choices.

Some provider processing is necessary to operate the app, validate purchases, maintain security, or comply with law. Those activities may continue where permitted even after an optional preference is changed. If a privacy law gives you the right to opt out of certain disclosures, targeted advertising, sale, or sharing, we will honor qualifying requests as required by that law.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Privacy laws in your region may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or to appeal a decision about a privacy request where local law provides that right.

Requests are handled according to the law that applies to you and to the information involved. We may need enough information to understand the request, confirm that it relates to you, and respond securely. Some information may be kept when retention is required or permitted for legal compliance, dispute handling, app security, purchase records, or other legitimate purposes.

You can also manage some information through your device, app-store account, or app controls. Removing the app or changing device settings may affect information stored locally or future collection by the app, but it may not remove records already held by service providers, app marketplaces, or legally retained systems.

Data Retention

Retention depends on the purpose for keeping the information and the legal limits that apply. Information may remain in active systems while it supports app operation, purchase validation, privacy-request handling, security review, compliance, audits, or protection of legal rights.

User content and app records are kept only for the period that fits the relevant app or legal purpose. Communications may remain until the matter is handled and any needed response history is complete. Purchase and transaction-status records may be preserved for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, marketplace, and entitlement purposes.

After the relevant purpose ends, information may be deleted, de-identified, aggregated, or separated from ordinary use when that approach is reasonable and allowed by law.

Security of Your Information

Security is handled through technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to reduce privacy risks. These measures may include access controls, provider review, secure transmission practices, monitoring, and limits on who can handle records for operational or legal purposes.

No mobile app, network, or storage system can be made risk-free. We work to use reasonable safeguards for the nature of the information involved, but security incidents, platform failures, user-device risks, and provider events can still occur.

Children's Privacy

Tasolo is intended for users who have the legal capacity to use mobile apps in their region or who use the app with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. We do not knowingly seek information from minors in a way that would require parental consent without taking the steps required by applicable law.

If a parent, guardian, or lawful representative believes that a minor has provided information in a way that requires review, the request can be directed through the contact channel below. We will assess the request under the applicable child-privacy or data-protection rules.

International Data Transfers

Operation of Tasolo can involve providers, infrastructure, and support resources located across national borders. As a result, information may be handled in regions with privacy laws that differ from those where you live.

Where transfer safeguards are required, we use appropriate legal mechanisms for the circumstances, such as contractual protections, data-processing terms, adequacy rules, or other safeguards recognized by applicable law. Users in the EEA, UK, or similar regions may have additional rights or transfer protections under local data-protection law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

The current version first applies on May 27, 2026 and was revised on May 27, 2026. Future changes may reflect app updates, provider changes, legal developments, or operational needs.

When we make material revisions, the updated policy will be posted at the privacy page or another appropriate app or marketplace location. The revised version will apply from the date indicated unless applicable law requires a different notice period, consent step, or transition rule.
